From Designer’s Drawings to Studio Floor
Most productions come to us with the production designer’s drawings ready to go. We’ll price the build honestly, flag anything that won’t work structurally and suggest practical alternatives before cutting begins. Your ESS project manager stays with the job, working alongside the art department, lighting and floor crew.
New Builds & Set Refurbishments
Not every series needs a new set. Sometimes the smartest use of the budget is refurbishing what already exists, repairs, respray, new cladding, and updated graphics, so a returning show looks fresh without a ground-up rebuild. We do both, and we’ll tell you straight which one your set actually needs.
Camera-Ready Finishes
Cameras find every shortcut. Our paint workshop delivers scenic finishes, texture work and precise colour matching, while our CNC machinery keeps curves, joints and repeated elements identical across the set. Printed backings and set graphics come from our own large-format print department, so everything arrives matched and ready to shoot.
Built for Studio Schedules
Studio days are expensive, so we don’t waste them. Scenery is prefabricated at our workshop and arrives ready to assemble meaning your time on the floor goes into fitting and dressing only. Overnight installs, quick strikes and de-rigs that pack away cleanly for the next block are second nature to us.
