Film scenery is honest work done dishonestly: timber pretending to be stone, MDF passing for marble, and a wall built yesterday reading as a century old. Getting that illusion right takes proper joinery and proper scenic finishing, and that’s exactly what our workshop turns out.
Flats, Facades & Backings
We construct flats, facades, columns, archways, streetscape pieces and full room builds, cut precisely on our CNC machines and assembled by carpenters who’ve spent years in set construction. Printed backings and scenic graphics come from our in-house large format print department, sized to your stage and rigged to suit.
Scenic Art & Ageing
Our paint workshop handles texturing, wood-graining, marbling, ageing and distressing, plus accurate colour matching when you need built pieces to blend with a real location. If the designer wants Victorian plaster or a salt-bleached beach hut, we’ll get the finish there.
Stage or Location – We Travel
Everything is pre-fabricated at our 12,000-square-foot Buckinghamshire workshop, designed to break into sections that travel safely and assemble quickly wherever the shoot is sound stage, warehouse, country house or hillside. Our crew installs, adjusts and strikes to your schedule, not ours.
Commercials & Short-Form Shoots
Commercials rarely offer the luxury of time. A brief on Monday, a build by Friday, and a strike over the weekend that rhythm suits us fine because we do everything under our roof with no sub-contractors slowing things down.

Well, commercials are usually days, not weeks, and that suits us. We’re known for fast turnarounds, and because joinery, spraying and print are all in-house, we can compress a schedule without cutting corners.
If you tell us reshoots are likely, we’ll design the scenery to strike cleanly, store flat and rebuild accurately, and we can advise on transport and storage between shoots.
