The Whole Show, Not Just the Runway
A fashion show is fifteen minutes of catwalk and days of construction; nobody applauds. We handle the unapplauded part: runways, scenic sets, seating risers, branded entrances, backstage areas and the photographers’ riser at the end of it all designed, fabricated and installed by one team from our Buckinghamshire workshop.
Transforming the Venue
The best shows rarely happen in purpose-built spaces. Warehouses, galleries, gardens, deconsecrated churches, venues chosen for atmosphere, not convenience. We survey early, design around the quirks, and arrive with everything prefabricated, so an awkward room becomes an asset rather than a fight.
Front of House to Backstage
The audience sees a finished world; the models see a working one. Out front, we build the runway, the set, tiered seating and the arrival experience. BTS, there are dressing areas, hair and make-up stations and rail-ready space, all sight-lined so backstage stays backstage.
Carrying the Creative
Show sets exist to serve a collection, and near enough isn’t good enough for a designer. Our paint workshop blends colours and textures; our print department produces backdrops and branding; and joiners build scenery for television so sculptural, ambitious set pieces are familiar ground.
Short Get-Ins, Sharp Deadlines
Show venues are hired by the day, sometimes by the hour, and fashion weeks compress everything further. As we pre-fabricated the build, on-site time goes into assembly and finishing, often overnight. Rehearsal starts on time; the strike is just as quick.
A Collaborative Approach
We work closely with producers, designers, stylists, and venue teams to make sure every detail aligns with the creative vision set. With clear communication and thorough planning, we ensure everything comes together seamlessly on the show day.

Typically, the runway, the backdrop or scenic set, seating risers, the entrance and front-of-house dressing, backstage areas and a photographer’s position at the end of the runway. We can supply the whole environment or slot in alongside your existing production team.
Yes — and unusual venues are half the appeal of a good show. Warehouses, galleries, gardens and historic buildings all come with quirks; our site surveys catch them early, and the build is designed around them.
Most shows get the venue for a day or two at best. We pre-fabricate everything at our workshop, so on-site time is assembly and finishing, and our crew are used to working overnight to hand over on schedule.
We do — dressing areas, hair and make-up stations, rails-ready spaces and screening that keeps backstage invisible from the front of house. The audience only sees the show; we make sure of it.
That’s the point of it. Printed backdrops, sprayed finishes, sculptural scenic pieces, branded entrances — our in-house print and paint departments mean the designer’s vision arrives exactly as intended, not approximated.
Yes. A stable, correctly positioned photo riser at the end of the runway is non-negotiable for press coverage, and we build it from the same aluminium litedeck stock we use for staging.
Of course. Fashion runs on embargoes, and so do we — NDAs are standard, and nothing about your show leaves our workshop early.
We do, and slots around fashion weeks fill quickly — the whole industry builds in the same fortnight. Book early where you can; call anyway if you can’t.
